What system is the 42nd Annual Congress virtual experience using?

NAON has partnered with a premier virtual conference platform, Pathable, to host this year’s Annual Congress virtual experience.

What internet browser is recommended?

For the best user experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Due to limitations within Zoom, attendees in Safari, Firefox or other browsers may experience audio issues.

NAON does recommend that you use the desktop platform for all live streaming of any education sessions due to bandwidth issues that may occur with your phone.

What is the time zone for those attending the live virtual experience?

The Congress schedule at a glance is posted in Pacific Time. This aligns with the time zone of the in-person meeting. Please note, in the virtual experience platform, you will have the opportunity to view your personal schedule in your preferred time zone.

Can I chat with a specific attendee or speaker?

During livestream sessions, you will have access to chat with other virtual attendees. Each session will have someone monitoring the chat for questions.  Please note that you may send a message in the chat while viewing sessions on demand, but no staff or speakers will be actively monitoring messages after the close of Congress.

You can also connect with other virtual Congress attendees and speakers by sending them a direct message on the virtual platform. To do so,  navigate to the Attendees tab within the platform and find the attendee or speaker that you’d like to connect with. Click on their profile and then “Send Message.” They will receive a notification that they’ve received a message from you.
