1. Implement relevant and appropriate evidence-based patient education in the clinical setting to improve outcomes in the identified patient population.
Using the Health Care Education Association's (HCEA) Patient Education Guidelines for Health Care Professionals, this webinar will share pearls regarding patient education that ‘sticks and results in the behaviors that will help produce the best outcomes. The presenters will provide a framework for patient education as well as a template and examples.
Education Outcome: At least 50% of participants will report that the session provided information that would cause change(s) in the practice and/or professional environment

Instructions: After the webinar, the participant will complete the evaluation and post-test in the Online Education Center. Once the evaluation and post-tests are completed, the participant will be able to access the certificate.
To gain the continuing professional development contact hours offered for this webinar, the participant must view the entire webinar, complete an online post-test, and online evaluation. Only after these requirements are completed will a certificate will be issued.
