Learner Outcome

Implement relevant evidence-based practices in the clinical setting to improve patient outcomes in the Total Joint Arthroplasty patient population.

Two NAON webinars in 2020 provided education about innovative strategies that were implemented to improve patient outcomes in the Total Joint Arthroplasty.  “Pre Hospital Optimization of Patients Undergoing Total Joint Replacement -Navigating the Reversible Co-Morbidity Waters” focused on patient optimization preoperatively.   “Ain't No Mountain High Enough: The Journey to Implement ERAS in a Total Joint Replacement Surgery Program” addressed use of ERAs principles to improve patient outcomes.  This webinar will bring these presenters back to continue the conversation.  Networking, Polling questions, and discussion will make this education interactive and collaborative.  We can also expand to discuss other Orthopaedic patient populations! Join us for some pearls you can take back to your organization!

Education Outcome: At least 50% of participants will report that the session provided information that would cause change(s) in the practice and/or employment environment
